“Attacking, Finishing and Goalkeeping 3 Day Camp”

The ability to attack with a purpose and finish with a ball in the back of the net is critical in soccer. Just as important is preventing that on a goalkeepers side of things. This camp will combine the attacking skills, strategies, fine points for shooting and finishing techniques with the goalkeepers who are preventing that from happening. A unique camp that will put the attacking players vs. the goalkeepers in camp while also breaking things down to get repititions in order to build technique. The competition should keep the intensity high and the challenge to each player will drive success and build confidence in the attacking 1/3 of the field. For the goalkeepers an opportunity for 1v1 goalkeeping and cutting down angles and making decisions as a goalkeeper when an attacking player is making a move.

Winter Session for SoccerTots and SIA

The new schedule has been released for the winter session of SoccerTots and Salem Indoor Academy. The first class is on Friday December 4th, 2009 and the session wraps up the week of January 25th, 2010. Come in today and enroll!

Coed Open and Men's 3 ready to kickoff

Signups have started for the Coed Open and Men's 3rd division. The deadline for the Men's 3 is Friday November 19th, 2009 with league play starting the following week of the 23rd. Coed Open takes the field either the 4th or 5th of December with registration ending Saturday November 28th, 2009. Call your friends and sign up today!

Salem Indoor and WAFC team up for Thanksgiving Challenge

Woodburn Athletic Futbol Club will be bringing their Thankgiving Challenge Tournament for youth teams to the Salem Indoor Soccer Center, Friday November 27th through Sunday November 29th. The tournament is open to all U8-U18 teams looking for a challenge. Each team will be guaranteed 3 games. The price is $175 for U8-10 and $195 for U11-U18. The deadline to sign up is November 21st. The return of Open Play

Be sure to call to reserve your spot (for either you and your team of seven) every Friday. Call us with your information during the day on Friday and we'll make sure to get you onto the field. Cost is $9/player $63/team.

Tuesday/Thursday Morning Women's Open Play

Salem Indoor offers a open play for women on Tuesday and Thursday. It is run on a drop in basis and all levels are welcome to come play.

Tuesday - 5:30pm to 8:00pm

Thursday - 9:30am to 11:00am

Cost: $8 a player
